The Datavideo BC-100 1080p Interchangeable Lens Camera features an MFT lens mount enabling use of a variety of available lenses, and it has a 4/3 format CMOS sensor. Please note that the camera does not come with a lens. The camera captures 1080p in standard European and US broadcast frame rates from 59.94, 50, 29.97, 25, 24, and 23.98, which allows you to use it virtually anywhere in the world. It supports Live HDR and 3DNR, for clean images when shooting in low-light situations. The camera outputs 12-bit, 4:4:4 video for a clear artifact-free image.
The built-in tally will light green for pre-select and red for active camera. You can output to a switcher or recorder via the two 3G-SDI outputs as well as the HDMI output. It features an integrated RJ45 port that supports RS-232 and RS-422 control, while an additional RJ45 port supports the DVIP networking protocol. You can also control the camera via a downloadable smartphone app.
Interchangeable Lens Camera
The BC-100 is an interchangeable lens camera with a 1920 x 1080 resolution CMOS sensor. The MFT lens mount allows you to pick from an array of lenses. The BC-100 is controlled by an app on your smartphone or tablet or by using the MCU-400 hardware control panel.It also features an Ethernet connection to ensure network operability when using your own integrated system.
Image Quality
The BC-100 supports Live HDR, 3D noise reduction, and 12-bit image capture at up to 4:4:4, which makes it suitable for all conditions from well lit to extremely dim. The 4/3 format CMOS sensor supports 1080p at European and US broadcast frame rates.
Control
You can control the camera by a downloadable app on your smartphone or tablet or by using the MCU-400 hardware control panel (not included). The BC-100 also features an Ethernet connection to ensure network operability when using your own integrated system.
Tally
The integrated tally light alerts your talent as to which camera is active when shooting with a live switcher. A green tally light lights up when a camera is cued up to go live next, and the tally light turns red when that camera is live.
Audio Input
The camera features two 3-pin XLR connectors for mic input, and it has switchable on/off phantom power for working with mics that require power from the camera.
